Create a short 16:9 PPTX pilot deck with an offline fallback and select a redistributable movie with documented license/source. Package a manifest with checksums. Put both files on Turbo local disk under a stable operator-visible folder while it remains in workstation mode. Do not switch kiosk mode or automate launching.
Acceptance: double-clicking the deck starts presentation use; the movie imports and plays in QLab with audio; checksums match the manifest; source/license attribution travels with the asset.
Delivery note: the generated pilot PPTX is smaller than 10 MB and may be sent directly to studio@cloudseven.be. The selected movie is larger and must use HydraTransfer (or an equivalent managed operator copy).
Assets are now deployed on Turbo (turbo-pancake-76) in /Users/x6vh3j97rmcloudseven/Hydra/Talks/hydra-talks-cloud7-pilot-v1/ and all four manifest checks pass. Movie selection supersedes the earlier Big Buck Bunny candidate: Sintel.2010.4k.mkv, official Blender 4K master, 4096×1744 H.264/AVC with AC-3 5.1 at 48 kHz/640 kb/s (6 channels). Official MD5 matches 414c9f0d876cda31c3e4a4d50b049e27; deployed SHA-256 is 648178454637253705ea56bd8a02db0bf17134703fe82ec3d6a9a880a343bc08. This is discrete 5.1, not native Dolby Atmos. QLab import/output routing is not yet verified; macOS metadata tools did not recognize the MKV container. QLab requires an Audio license for outputs beyond the first two channels, per its official documentation. The updated PPTX, attribution, media notes and manifest are beside the movie.
Atmos blocker confirmed on Turbo: system_profiler SPAudioDataType reports default HDMI output RAP-1580MKII, manufacturer ROT, 48 kHz, Output Channels: 2. The QLab-compatible 4K Sintel MOV is loaded as an unbroken cue but is AAC stereo. It validates picture/container only and cannot validate the Atmos room. Do not substitute receiver upmixing for native Atmos acceptance.
Stereo Sintel MOV has been replaced on Turbo by the official Sintel.2010.4k.mkv master. Verified official MD5 414c9f0d876cda31c3e4a4d50b049e27; track headers show 4096×1744 H.264/AVC and AC-3 5.1 at 48 kHz/640 kb/s with 6 channels. Updated deck, media notes and SHA-256 manifest are deployed and all checks pass. The open QLab workspace had changed and contains Slow Violence - 2023_EDIT_SHORT_0007.mp4; it was preserved. A trial QLab Script cue for VLC passthrough was broken because Script cues require a QLab license, so that trial cue was removed. VLC passthrough remains the direct playback route for Sintel; it is a strong lawful 5.1 source, not native Atmos.
Pilot package prepared locally at
/home/claude-user/hydra-talks-pilot/: 8-slideHydra-Talks-Cloud7-Pilot.pptx(181,385 bytes), reproducible JS source, attribution, official movie source, and SHA-256 manifest. PPTX archive validation passed (8 slide parts and required presentation/theme parts). Selected movie: Blender Foundation Big Buck Bunny 320×180 MP4 ZIP, CC BY 3.0, official source https://download.blender.org/peach/bigbuckbunny_movies/BigBuckBunny_320x180.mp4.zip. The local host filesystem was full, so the actual 65 MB movie was not retained and nothing was deployed to production Turbo. Download/deploy, PowerPoint/Keynote rendering, QLab playback, AV routing, and livestream checks remain acceptance work.
