Cloud Seven security: shortlist suppliers to replace Secure Inside across CCTV, access control, intercom and alarm
open question Priority: medium Project: experiencenet Reporter: cederik 27 Aug 2026 11:55

Description

Part of #566 (Secure Inside hand-over). Venue: cloud-seven.

Request

Cloud Seven is considering moving the security services away from Secure Inside. Identify and recommend suppliers able to cover a similar range.

Listed in the venue doc under "from September onward, non-urgent".

Range to cover

The replacement must cover all four, or the venue ends up with several contracts:

  1. CCTV and video surveillance: camera systems and recording infrastructure, configuration and administration of cameras and recordings, remote and mobile access, troubleshooting, maintenance and equipment replacement, network based CCTV and multi-site management where applicable.
  2. Access control: badge and PIN code systems, door and access management and configuration, user and access right management, troubleshooting and maintenance of the hardware and software.
  3. Intercom: intercom systems, integration with the door and access control systems, remote door opening, installation, configuration and troubleshooting.
  4. Intrusion alarm: installation and configuration, wired and wireless detectors, remote alarm management, maintenance and troubleshooting.

Current sub-suppliers

Secure Inside used Securitas, Octopus, Help Fire and Irisco. Confirm which contracts sit with Secure Inside and which sit directly with the venue, because the ones held directly do not need to move.

Blocked on

The security as-built record. A supplier cannot quote without an equipment list. Do that first.

Deliverable

A shortlist with, per supplier: coverage against the four areas above, whether they take over the existing hardware or require replacement, response times, and an indicative price.

Supplier feedback: Citymesh (2026-09-17)

Citymesh's Camera/Security team declined to take over the existing Hikvision CCTV setup as-is. They offered to quote a renewal with Genetec hardware instead if there's interest.

Reply sent: asked Citymesh for an estimate on the Genetec renewal, and flagged that we intend to also look for a Hikvision-compatible provider as an alternative, to avoid a forced hardware swap.

Open: awaiting Citymesh's Genetec estimate; still need to find/shortlist a Hikvision-capable provider as the other option.

Hikvision provider outreach: ARV Solutions (2026-09-17)

Identified ARV Solutions (Brussels, Hikvision-certified installer, agréé SPF Intérieur, BCE BE 1033.939.925) as a candidate to take over the existing Hikvision setup — covers CCTV/IP cameras, access control (Paxton/Brivo), and video intercom. Not affiliated with Secure Inside or Unseen (the outgoing/previous providers).

Submitted a quote request via their contact form (https://www.arv-solutions.be/contact) on 2026-09-17: asked their process for taking over an existing Hikvision installation, and requested a quote. Reply-to set to cederik@experiencenet.com. Confirmation received: "Demande envoyée !".

Open: awaiting ARV Solutions' reply (their site states response within 24h). Still need a second Hikvision-capable quote for comparison against Citymesh's Genetec offer.
