Pantheon's Membership type (pkg/pantheon/types.go) has user_id, organization_slug, joined_at and is_admin, and no name. GET /users/{id}/memberships therefore never returns one.
iamnim's own Membership struct declares organization_name, so the field has been present in the API and empty since it was written. Every consumer that displays an organization name has been rendering a blank. Found 2026-10-02 when a portal showed untitled cards for all seven of a user's organizations and the sentence "your experience in , still a draft".
iamnim v0.52.0 backfills the names from the realm's organization list, which is the right layer for the projection iamnim serves and is now verified returning 7/7 names. The lookup only runs when at least one name is missing, so it costs nothing once Pantheon carries them.
Add the organization name to Pantheon's membership projection. MembershipStore.list already joins on m.organization_slug, so the name is one join away from the organizations table. Then iamnim's backfill becomes dead code and can be deleted.
This was deliberately NOT done at the time: it changes the type and the API of the identity service for the whole realm, and it was the middle of a live deployment session. It wants doing on purpose rather than in passing.
GET /api/me/memberships on iamnim should return a non-empty organization_name for every entry. The iamnim smoke-test testbook now lists this.
