All venues emit the SSID "experiencenet", which runs on WiFi 6E (6 GHz). The hydraamulet (#697) uses an ESP32-S3 with a 2.4 GHz-only radio, so it cannot join that network.
Proposal:
- Add a second SSID "experiencenet_amulet" on 2.4 GHz, broadcast by the hydraneck routers at every venue. The GL.iNet units are dual-band, so this is a config change.
- Treat it as an IoT SSID: own credentials, and decide whether it lands on the venue LAN or an isolated segment that only reaches the Hydra control endpoint.
Tasks:
- Define the SSID config (name, security, segment/VLAN, what the amulet can reach).
- Add it to the hydraneck router config so new and existing venues pick it up.
- Roll it out to the current router inventory (#533).
- Verify an ESP32 can associate and reach the Hydra control endpoint at one venue.
