At Cloud Seven, turbo-pancake-76 (Mac Mini, hydraheadflatscreen) drives two displays: DELL P2723QE (main, operator) and the venue big screen via RAP-1580MKII (DCI 4K). The HydraExperienceNet stream process always opens on the main display: Session::getWindowDimensions() in the moonlight fork picks the display of the Qt UI window and falls back to SDL display 0, with no override.
Change:
- hydra-experiencenet (moonlight fork): add --display-index to the stream subcommand. StreamingPreferences gets a CLI-only displayIndex (default -1). Session::getWindowDimensions() uses it for initial window placement when valid. Borderless (WM_FULLSCREEN_DESKTOP) then fills that display.
- hydraheadflatscreen: new config key display_index (default unset). pkg/client/moonlight.go appends --display-index when set.
- Deploy both to turbo-pancake-76 and set display_index to the RAP-1580MKII output so the Hydra stream shows on the venue screen while the grid stays on the DELL.
Deployed: hydra-experiencenet v6.1.38 (--display-index on the stream subcommand) and hydraheadflatscreen v2.2.5 (display_index config key). turbo-pancake-76 updated to both, config display_index: 1, agent log shows "stream display index: 1". Test stream of rupelmonde-castle-viewer is running with --display-index 1 in the command line. Awaiting in-venue visual confirmation that SDL display 1 is the RAP-1580MKII output, then this can close.
