Fleet operators can confirm the Qt app version visually via the kiosk header (issue #121), but the hydraheadflatscreen agent version has no visual surface. Operators must use exec to run the version command. Approach: expose the agent version on the local API (GET /api/v1/version on 127.0.0.1:9740, returning {"version":"vX.Y.Z"}), then fetch it from KioskView.qml with XMLHttpRequest (same style as runDiagnostics) and show it in the ? help dialog as "Agent vX.Y.Z". On fetch failure the dialog shows "Agent unknown" or nothing, never an error popup.
UPDATE 2026-08-18: implemented. hydraheadflatscreen main commit 56693b5 adds GET /api/v1/version to the local API. hydra-experiencenet master commit 246e863c fetches it when the ? dialog opens and shows a muted "Agent vX.Y.Z" line below the Close button; the line is hidden on fetch failure. Both changes are on main/master pending the next releases (agent v2.2.3+, kiosk after v6.1.37); no tags pushed yet.
